Welcome to our Spring 2017 Season!

By now, all players/parents should have received an invitation email from their Team Manager with a link to register at TeamSnap. Here is the link, just in case. TEAMSNAP 

All Registration must be completed by 1/28. 

The registration process is self-explanatory. Add  participant, follow the prompts. The forms should be downloaded and saved to your computer, filled out on your computer, then uploaded back to TeamSnap. If you are unable to fill out on your computer, please print, fill out, scan and upload the forms. If no scanner, please give to your Team Manager.

Uniforms can be ordered at TeamSnap (we will place the order at Spin).  At Payment section on TeamSnap, please fill in the amount you are paying in case you need more than one of something. The total will be at the bottom. (i.e. 2 boys white jerseys @ $34 each = $68)

Payment can be made on TeamSnap with a credit card. If you’d like to pay with a check, please use the “Pay Offline” box and make checks payable to: Grady Ultimate Layout Booster Club. The checks can be sent to our Treasurer, Jack Hammond at 1429 McLendon Ave, Atlanta, 30307.

Everyone must join/renew their membership at USAU.  This is a requirement to secure your place on the team.  Go HERE to do this.

Please get the TeamSnap app on your phone! Players AND Parents! This is going to be essential for messages from coaches and managers. For schedule, maps to fields, availability for games, sign up for blue bucket and contact info for your teammates. It’s really helpful!

Fees for 2017 Spring Season:

Boys and Girls Varsity = $229

Boys JV = $189

Girls JV= $139

USAU fee:  $34.50 (required)

Uniforms:

Jersey White: $34 (required)

Jersey Red: $26 (required)

Shorts Gray: $26 (required for Varsity players)

Tryouts – Spring 2017  Boys in grades 8 – 12  and Girls in grades 7-12 are welcome.

Please Bring: Forms (below), 1 light jersey, 1 dark jersey, water bottle & cleats. Be ready to play!

*If athletes have current forms filed with APS, please let your team parent know before Wed. 1/11 so we can verify with APS.
**You will not be able to tryout without the required physical/forms.

TRYOUTS FAQ

Q1: Will JV teams have a ‘cut’?

A1: No.  All players that tryout and make the commitment to the team will be welcomed on the JV teams. However, should more players try out than is reasonable for our JV program and to ensure everyone who wants to play will get a chance, the Coaches may ask seventh grade players to play for the middle school girls league rather than the Grady JV team.

Q2: Will the Varsity teams have a ‘cut’?

A2: Yes.  These are traditional high school varsity teams.  We play at a high level, with strong SOTG and we compete to win.  The teams will be cut to 18-21 players.

Q3: How will players be informed of what team they are on?

A3:  Following tryouts, team rosters will be posted on www.gradyultimate.org.  Check there to see what team you are on.

Q4: How often do the teams practice?

A4: Teams practice each Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  The exception is JV Girls- who will practice Wednesday and Friday.
